CFB Injuries & Updates – Thur. January 7
In injury updates, Alabama WR Jaylen Waddle has been practicing and was described as a likely game-day decision. Ohio State QB Justin Fields says he has been dealing with soreness and Thursday was the first day he returned to practice, but that he’ll be good to play in the championship game. Ole Miss RB Jerrion Ealy tweeted that he had surgery after suffering a leg injury in December.
Declaring for the NFL Draft were Texas A&M QB Kellen Mond, Louisiana RB Trey Ragas, Oklahoma RB Rhamondre Stevenson, Miami TE Brevin Jordan, Ball State WR Antwan Davis and Notre Dame TE Tommy Tremble.
Notable players entering the transfer portal were Miami QB N’Kosi Perry and Georgia Southern RB Matt Laroche. Arizona had 3 WRs withdraw their names from the portal.

Alabama WR Jaylen Waddle will reportedly return to practice tomorrow after an ankle injury earlier in October was thought to have knocked him out for the season, but his status for the title game is not yet known.
