CBB Player Updates from Tues. July 6
Wednesday July 7 is the deadline for players to withdraw from the NBA Draft and return to college, so Tuesday saw a large number of players announcing they would withdraw from the draft, with a few who are also in the transfer portal and may not be returning to their original school. There are still a dozen+ players I hope to see announcements from about staying in the draft or returning to school on Wednesday.
There were not any new notable names in the transfer portal or transfer destination announcements on Tuesday.

- Isaiah Adams, UCF – will return next season, I don’t believe his name ever appeared on the official NBA Draft declaration list – 9.9 ppg
- Ochai Agbaji, Kansas – withdrawing from NBA Draft and will return – 14.1 ppg
- Kofi Cockburn, Illinois – withdrawing from NBA Draft, remains in portal – 17.7 ppg
- Eric Curry, Minnesota – will return next year for a 6th season after previously saying his career was done – 3.7 ppg
- Hunter Dickinson, Michigan – withdrawing from NBA Draft and will return – 14.1 ppg
- Hasahn French, Saint Louis – confirmed to be pursuing a pro career, also trying out for NFL teams

With July 7 the deadline to remove your name from the NBA Draft and return to college, the countdown is on for several dozen players who have yet to state their intentions. Monday only saw a handful of decisions, so I’d expect Tuesday and Wednesday to be busier.
